How I Used GAC 900 to Paint on a Denim Vest
I've never used fabric medium to paint on denim before, so I figured I'd give Golden's GAC 900 heat-set fabric painting medium a try. I chronicled my experiment by running the camera while I used acrylic paint, India ink and Sharpie creative markers to draw a Drink the Paint Water logo on the back of my jean vest.
The directions call for a 1:1 ratio of medium to acrylic paint and then to heat set your masterpiece after the paint had dried.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the results, though it did have an unexpected and somewhat unsettling result.
