Art Challenge Accepted! (Precipice of Corruption on Black Velvet)

A few weeks ago, my friend Micheal Spredemann of 2 Old Guys Games tagged me on Twitter. He commented that he’d love to see my rendition of a Matt Strikker drawing which had been featured on the cover of “Precipice of Corruption” by Breaker Press Games.

I rose to the challenge in the best way I know how_ by capturing the raw sexual power of black velvet.

But seeing as it’s sort of my schtick to approach these things at an angle, I decided to try not only a new process for preparing the black velvet art surface, but also creating the drawing in oil pastels — a medium I have little to know knowledge of or experience with.

What’s the worst that could happen?
